Pumpkin Open-Concept Free Draw
This project involved being tasked with taking a sliced pumpkin and allowing the class to draw it however we saw fit to explore it. I took a more fantasy route with the piece and turned it into a sort of gem heart construct and featured the dragons Spyro and Cynder from the videogame series as I was experimenting with drawing fantasy creatures at the time.
Food Color Composition
This project tasked us with exploring the various shapes and figures that could be found in various foods of our choice. One of the objectives of the project was to just work with one color and use tints and shades to project a spectrum of color for hierarchy while making an interesting composition with each food of our choice.
Children's Storybook Letter Page
This page was a typography page where the class was assigned a letter at random, then draw that letter in theme with an action word and tasked with designing a page to go with our letter in its new form. Since my letter was "F" I had once again let my growing fantasy background shine by going with "flying" as my chosen action word and using my personal dragon character, Marvok as the star!
